Team heko wind deflector problems

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My vrs seems to have an issue with fitting my deflectors...

There seems to be a system where the window almost closes then opens itself again. How to I get past this annoying demon of a system to where I can fit them? Anyone else had this issue?

Did you put the metal things inbetween the wind deflector and seal? Or put them far enough in, mine did this and i had to push the metal things in a little bit more

I'm pretty sure that when it's near the top, click the window switch again then it will allow you to put them up manually. Leave the windows shut for a few days too and it will soon sort itself out :)

Awesome, I'll have another look on Friday, when it's light and hopefully not raining so much!

Right, fitted the set today, the windows are still having this problem, but it seems to be better. Is there a sensor somewhere, or is it an option in VAGCOM? Talking of which, anyone local with one?

I think the sensor just has to learn the new values.

Mine did this but after opening and shutting my drivers side it stopped after a while. My passenger side doesn't get opened as much and still does it.

I have them fitted and happens too.. But doesnt in my other car

They come with double sided tape on already. I have the metal clips in mine and never had any issues.

The clips dont rust

Any ideas on how to sort this ??
