In September 2011, the 2nd service on my 1.9TDI cost £175 + VAT.

Brake fluid change (recommended) cost another £35 + VAT.

You shouldn't be paying more than £129 inc. VAT for a fixed annual/10,000 mile service.

I'd buy the air filter and fit it myself (£15) rather than paying the extra for the major / 20,000 mile service.

This is suposeldy for cars over three years old but many (decent) dealers are honoring these prices for all ages.
