Recommend me a Double DIN

Featured Replies

Maybe in the market for a replacement HU for the vRoomster.

Budget - up to £200 or so.

Must have:-

  • 3.5mm aux in or bluetooth streaming to use with phone
  • Bluetooth handsfree

No need for:-

  • CD/DVD slot
  • Loads of buttons
  • Navigation capabilities - I own a map
  • Halfrauds own brand :giggle:

What do you know?

Pioneers range of AVH Bluetooth double din HU's are very good. Both myself and Gee have the AVH 4400 BT units which are above your £200 or so budget at £300 ish but they do ones within your price range. We have the 4400 BT in the Furby with standard speakers and a small 8 inch active sub in the boot. Sound quality is remarkable.

Just asked the same question. I like the look of the Pioneer AVH-P2400BT which comes with all the bells and whistles for a shade over £200 online delivered. Only gripe is to add the GPS function costs an extra £250 for the extra unit. Otherwise it's a bargain.

Sorry to hijack this, but are there any units like this that include DAB? Seems a bit daft to me to spend money like that when they don't.

  • 1 month later...

The pioneer double din unit avh-x3500dab unit has(surprisingly) dab!

Available for £330 upwards...looks pretty good to me.
