SOLD - Brand new Monroe front struts for Octavia I

Featured Replies

I have a pair of brand new, boxed Monroe from struts for an Octavia mk1 that I'm open to offers on.

The part number is 16731 and can be seen here . That page shows them as fitting the mk1 Octavia vRS, but just to be clear, they will NOT fit as they have no mounting point for the anti-roll bar linkage.

So I really cannot say what they will fit, hence why I am open to sensible offers if someone has a need for them and is pretty certain they will work.

If needed I can post some pictures up or answer any questions. Postage would be doable depending on weight, but collection from Bradford, Yorkshire would be better.

Thanks,

Nathan

They will fit leon's and golf mk4's

Cheers Jase,

Should they be OK for other Octavia's so long as they don't have the vRS arb mounting system?

yes they will be. Cant you just get your self some steel and weld up a drop link mount? I did this for a friend, cheap shocks but werent for vrs

Yeah, I could have done, but I'm not sure what the outcome would have been as I didn't know if the damping etc was the same as an OEM shock. So I've bitten the bullet and bought 2 from Skoda. I got the rest of the setup at a decent price, so It hasn't fleeced me totally :)

Cheers Jase,

Yeah will fit any mk4 based car that doesnt need the links to the struts
