Rear Hub

I have the 1.9.tdi Ambeiente Auto

it's a brilliant car but I just don't get the "feeling of braking" when I drive

I know the brakes are working fine I had them checked, but it seems to take a fair bit of pedal and more time than I'd like to stop it when driving it hard

Is it possible to change the rear brakes from drum to disc? if so how easy is it and what would I need to do it?

Would it make much difference?

I changed the back axle from a standard drum braking system, too a rear disk set up, wasn't a great deal of hastle for me, i got the back disk axel from a elegance 55plate in a brakers yard for £100 with all calipers and cables, while i had the axle off i renewed the bushes with polly ones, also i renewed the bake lines and flexi pipes, for me i was happy with the end result better hand brake and more responsive breaking, but i also change the brake fluid too ad blue racing fluid, so hope this is what your wanting to hear

I have a new rear beam with new brake lines and polybushes just needs discs and calipers
