Ok it's Chinese but came in at under £200 delivered which is £460 cheaper than the Forge one. As you can see the welds are very neat. It's for the Mk5 golf gti so I will need to find a way to fasten it back but it should fit ok. I will be running it in conjunction with my S3 cooler so we'll see the results.

Can I ask why your going to run it with your s3 one, would you have been better off getting a bigger core and running a single one??

I like the fact that its actually mounted at the very front of the car instead of being sandwiched between the rad and air con condenser. Feedback from the US using this setup is good :)

Um interesting, out of curiosity how are you going to plumb them in, s3 feeding the twincooler or vice versa. I'm not sure I'm see the benefits of running 2 imo, I willing to be proved wrong of course.

Hope it work out well. Big saving from Forge. Hope its lasts as well as my forge FMIC with after 8 years is now being used by another member and still going strong.

Not going to go down my usual bash the chinese route but you get what you pay for. Interesting though that the chinese source performance parts from europe and the uk due to high quality products.

There is a pipe kit included which basically branches off to the two coolers. Mine is exactly the same as this one, see here:

Not interested in the usual Chinese copying bashing, I've had Chinese coolers before with great success.

I have been looking at these for sometime. Would be very insterested in how you fit it and your impressions. Was planning to go just the S3 intercooler route, but might leave the standard intercooler uprate the radiator and use this fmic instead. Hopefully you can do a full pictured post.

I went the S3 route and never noticed any increase in the power but it was better on a motorway journey at combatting heatsoak. My radiator fins are quite badly mashed so I expect airflow to the intercooler is restricted.

I'll be fitting in Spring unless we get a period of warm weather and I'll take a few pics as I'm fitting it for you.

:D

Have you managed to fit yet?? Any update.

bump - as above have you fitted it yet? Lots of similar kits like this on the us sites. Makes forge seem uber expensive.

Not yet I'm afraid. I've aquired a water meth kit so I'm not sure if I'll be fitting this at all, we'll have to see.

Can you link us up with where u perchased yours please, seriously thinking about doing this.

probably put the price up as they are on Holidays or out of stock.
