Hi All

I am sure this has been asked previously but I cannot locate an answer.

I have just purchase an Octavia vrs 57 plate and it currently has sat nav in I believe it's the MFD2 but the disc is pretty out of date 2007-2008. Is there a newer disc and where would I get one from.

There is a 2012-2013 disc available, but it is not cheap.

The disc has copy protection, so the only place to get it is retail.

The Skoda MFD2 is CDROM based, do not confuse it with later VW versions that could use DVD.

This is why I still have a 2005 CDROM in my Audi which uses the same discs. I would stick with the existing disc for now, its most likely not that bad as UK roads do not change that much.

I think I shall take that very sound advice, for the times I will actually use it, it does work we the maxi dot screen which is good.

The next option I guess is upgrade he unit but that is spending for spending sake (well that's what the wife thinks anyway)

save up and get a columbus

I think a Columbus is the way forward, time to look for a well priced one
