New Badges Fabia Monte

Featured Replies

After many searches im seeing contrasting info.

I have updated the wheel centres and happy that i have the correct number for te front badge.

Can anyone confirm the best or correct part number for the boot badge? Plus any tips on fitting them.

Many thanks :)

Ive ordered to front ones so will se how this works out lol

Crash I'm pretty sure the rear is a different size, one member here from Germany I think has done the same but I'm sure the rear is different or the aperture is different ?

That what i had heard. Theres to confliting numbers and i think both are to big for the hole so im guessing either way moding is required so lets see what happens lol

You have to make modifications to the rear to get the badge to fit, which involves packing out the indent so the badge will sit flush. As my car is new I don't fancy making this change just yet, maybe there will be a revision to the Fabia soon which will give the right size badges....

Nope ive looked in to this my Local TPS says that fabia have a listing for a new style badge in 2013, but will use a different boot lid.

Yeah crash that's what I mean the boot lid is different, well the indentation which takes the badge is different

Well speaking to the paint shop that doing a few tweaks to the car they reckon that would take 5mins to sort so leaving in thier hands :)

Pictures posted in this forum by OctaviaT81 show the revised boot lid no longer has a recessed Skoda logo badge. See also this post today from Colin;

Similer to what ive been told im thinking about de-badging or updating to the new type (like the rapid :))

Im also getting a exhaust tip fitted which means cutting the defusser should be interesting :)

Doesn't the tail pipe point down ?

  • Author

Yes, but after a bit of research the tip has an angled pipe to meet the exhaust, for it to mount, but will have a hold in ut, so the visable part will basically be for looks rather then a working exit, il upload pics of the kit when it arrives, the tip is designed too look like the Fabia sport exhaust (preface 1.9TDI sport)

New Fabia Badges will be available as of later this year :)

Yep looks better:)

Wow might trade in, them fabias on Leon's link looked awesome!!

Yes I love the black and red fab!! Must have one!!

that makes me really want the new style badges, look so much better than the current ones!

The front badge is a straight forward replacement of the old - the one at the back doesn't stick and needs to get glued/attached to the recess with plenty of silicone.

Two Citigo front badges are needed (Part number: 1ST 853 601A AUL)
