After cracking the rear light cluster, I removed it and checked for product code and there is 2 of them on the back of the light - 5J6945095 and 5J6945111. Which one is the correct one I'm looking for, some websites have both the numbers advertised with one about £40 dearer than the other, any help out there please.

According to the Russian vagcats parts book, 5J6945111A describes a RHD left side (nearside) taillight without bulb holder

5JF945095A is the number given for a complete RHD left side unit.

That was correct for the UK & the Fog Light on the Right hand side of the car.

 

I take it in Germany you need the Fog Light on the Left Rear, or Rear Fog Lights on Both Sides.

Yes i'm importing my RHD vRS into germany this month and currently figuring out what part numbers I need to prepare my car for right-hand traffic.

 

My vRS has no tourist mode and no magic internal lever to adjust the headlights (as some people have suggested)

 

So I believe a complete LHD headlight and tail-light swap is required.

 

Correct, the on the continent Fabia's have fog on the left and reverse on the right.

 

My plan is to buy new tail-light housing and rewire the fog and reverse light (basically run two wires from left to right and vice versa, then hide wires in the rear bumper or something) had considered swapping the lenses, but the housing is plastic welded, and taking apart would probably destroy the light!

 

I don't like the idea of doing that but i don't think its possible by simply flicking a switch to swap the fog and reverse light function. (thumbs down)

 

Any way the headlights and tail-lights currently installed are;

 

5J2941017F & 5J2941018F (Black-Vision package) same as Monte carlo

 

Tail-light - 5J6945095A & 5J6945096A (there are multiple part numbers printed on the grey housing, but these are marked with an 'X'

 

I think I need the following;

 

5J1941017F & 5J1941018F (left and right LHD Black-vision headlight)

 

5J6945111 & 5J6945112 (left and right LHD without bulb carrier etc) by process of elimination I think those are the part numbers I need.

 

When googling skoda fabia tail-light all part numbers are listed (e.g. for left 5J6945095, 5J6945095A, 5J6945111 & 5J6945111A) as they are printed on the housing, ignoring the fact that only one is marked.
