Missing fabia

Featured Replies

Having just bought a fabia 1.4 8v can anyone out there confirm that they are prone to a slight misfire at idle which can be felt in the car and also seen in a waver around 800 rpm on the rev counter. local dealer says they all do that (after 2 attempts to cure ) i.e clean throttle body and reset idle speed and mixture etc. apart from that and the wet back door trims due to leaking internal panel seals it seems to be a well screwed together car compared to others and 100% better than the ford it replaces quality wise- rust in seams at 2 years old etc. cheers....

AS I understand it, it is the "Engine" re-setting itelf due to been at Idle due to exaust build up ..................Perhaps I'm wrong........No dout I'll find out!!!!!

Confirmed

SWMBO's Blackline 1.4 8v does the same when idling. You get the feeling that it might stall sometimes although that has never been the case. Just one of those things I guess.

They are a bit shakey normally.
