Any idea whos registration this is??

I bought my Faia VRS from MFD carsales in Airdrie in october and have now recieved a lovely letter from the DVLA saying my car has no tax!!!???? Went and checked my tax disc and its for a totally diffrent car!!!!!

I am waiting on a call from the garage but im just concered that whoevers car this is may not have a tax disc!

Where's the info from??

info is from the DVLA but thats an app for iphone called mycarcheck

It looks to me to be from "my text check" app. The app is free and so is the above info, if you want more however, they will charge a few pounds.

They had an update that took most the info away :(. About a month or two ago you go about 5 of them pages from 1 reg. tellin you how many cylinders, if its turbo'd, mpg, bhp, where it was made, loads more, used to be excellent tbh...

I know! I was so peeved about this! I'm going to see if I can back date it or something.

If you start to list a car on eBay you can find out a fair bit from just entering the reg.

Other than the fact we now know it's a black Fabia, that app doesn't really give us anything we didn't already know surely? :S

So basically the garage were meant to tax your car but haven't and have given you a taxt disc from another car?

I hope they are going to cover the fine for not having car tax (£250?).

Yeah they are covering the fine and re-taxing it but its just a hassle!!! Funny thing is though over xmas i was pulled over 3 times (the police see me in a car and clearly think im up to no good clearly) and none of them picked up on it!!! PLUMS

Sounds like a simple mistake by the garage. I bought a car from MFD and couldn't fault him.

No, that is the registration on the tax disk not on his car.

Airdrie says it all im in coatbridge at the weekends so i might see you about if your from the area
