retrofitt maxidot

Featured Replies

hi everyone.

im new here, i was readying through threats but i couldn't find anything like the problems I'm having right now. i own a 2011 fabia elegance, and i bought a maxi-dot cluster.

yesterday i went to the main Skoda dealer here in my country and we started swapping the old cluster with the new one. and after doing this we start getting lots of errors, 1) steering angle sensor 2) oil level sensor 3) airbag 4) the km flicker all the time 5) the speedometer doesn't work 6) the fuel gauge its kind of crazy, but the dealer told me we had to calibrate the gauge by emptying the tank and filling it with a specific amount of gas.

have any one of you guys have done retrofit of a maxi-dot? I'm kind of worried because we spent a hole day at the dealer and we couldn't find a way to code the maxi-dot

i forgot, we did the actuator test in the vagcom and everything in the cluster its OK, also we did updated all the systems in the car.

thanks in advance

Yes i know, thats why im trying to figure this out right here! Do you know what coding do i need?

I would put your old one back in the car and check all the Coding, adaption channels and make a note of the values

Then refit the new maxidot and make sure they match

Then try clearing the faults and see what comes back, an Autoscan of before and after would help
