Not the point of the thread though which is what i saw in the showroom.Brace yourselves (and I may need the services of a photochopper because I didn't take a photo)

Dealer hacked off with boring fabia sport so has made an attempt at spicing it up.

Take one black magic fabia.Take out bumper inserts spray silver :eek: .Take side rubbing strips,spray silver :eek: .Spray wheel arches silver :eek: :eek: .Finally get a big sticker saying SPORT 75 and slap it on the front doors.Price at 10,500.

It was absolutely awful (though they had tried the reverse on a silver one ie black inserts and it didn't look to bad )

Nice octavia sport in red in the showroom though and L & K soon.No decision still on whether vRS diesel or petrol so keep guessing

If anyone can recreate the black fabia with silver wheel arches,please try (LYK )

I asked my dealer about the new Vrs on tuesday and he said its a 220bhp petrol and a diesel (but he didnt know what bhp).

The dealer i used to work for did a similar trick. Trying to get that balance of cost v's feasability/desirability etc is a tough one. We took a comfort 100pd and slapped a body kit on it then some genuine 14" alloys - looked very fetching

I wanted them to put a 1.4 16v comfort on demo with 15" 2.0 alloys. This i feel would have been a better investment and under that magic

mines a 1.4 16v comfort with kit:D but when i was on work exp at mid cornwall cars they took a 1.4 fabia saloon in that gold colour slaped an ironing board on the boot lid and some 17 octi wheels as well as eye brows and a front bumper extension it was absolutly WRONG! oh yeah and an induction kit :eek:

So,Leon.Do you think you could work your magic and create a black fabia with siver bits as listed above?

It reminded me (sort of) of the mercedes cars with chromed arches.Yak.Should have mentioned that in the pet hate mods thread

The diesel is roumoured to be 170bhp and will also be in the forthcoming Golf GTD
