Hi!

Just bought my first brand new car. A Skoda Octavia Estate 1.4 TSI Elegance. Picking it up on monday

I am really looking forward to it! (Spending most of my work days looking at different forums and such )

I guess this forum is mostly for british Skoda owners (briskoda = british skoda?), but I hope I'm welcome here anyways, even though I'm swedish

I spent a day in Malmo last year when I was on a trip to Copenhagen. The temptation to cross the bridge/tunnel was too great and I'm glad I did as your city is lovely.

Fan of Sweden myself Stockholm is an amazing city and up in the north is beautiful, had a great time in Gothenburg too at the Xmas market.

Welcome Kim, I just swapped my Octavia with 170k miles for a Superb, If the Superb is as good as the Octavia I will have no complaints!

Got really frustrated yesterday. Went to the dealer to pick up the car. Signed all the papers and the dealer went through the car with me, showing all basic stuff and all the features. I was really excited and just wanted to get out for that first drive. All I had to do was to make the down payment and all would be done.

Of course my bank have technical difficulties and the transaction can't be made. ARGH!

So now I'm sitting here hoping that the bank has fixed the problems and we can make the deal tosday instead.

Hope all goes well today - we have a 1.4 Elegance estate (2010) and it's serving us very well - We like the Octavia so much we're about to get another one (vRS blackline) to replace our Fabia
