I also heard, the reason why no-one can tell the difference between the 60 and the 75 is because the graphs are the same up to 5000 revs, then 5-6k an extra 15 bhp to the 75 don't know if this is true, but we couldn't tell the difference driving the 2 engines! (ours is the 60 ps)

I've had both and can't tell the difference until getting up near the redline.

60PS is a fine choice, but people just tend to choose the 75PS by default. I know I did.

Don't worry Bryan the octavia is still with me!!!

This is to replace the very annoying fiat 500. Fact is as much as I want to I'm just not bonding with it.

Richard, I test drove both and for my need there is no difference I could tell.

Picked up the car today. Pictures to follow.

Drive to pick up the alloys from Richard was a pleasant one. Journey back home apart from the weather was good, averaged by trip 59.8 which I think is rather good for a new engine.

Tomorrow mud flaps, dlr replacement bulbs and gear knob should be fitted. Hoping to activate anti hijack and a few other features via vagcom.
