does anybody know if these connectors are available to buy? i've ebayed and googled to no avail (image borrowed from a previous post by Orange7 with my thanks)

hi there i don't think you can but thats on the engine loom you could change whole loom it only plugs in to every think or chop one from a scraper i think i mite have a used one from when i tricked ecu to run car lean more fuel.

That looks like a connector called superseal made by amp, they are readily available even on eBay, there is a special too for crimping the contacts too but you can get away with using a generic non-insulated terminal crimper if you are careful.

I think Tom is on the money on this - they are doable, you just need to fit them carefully.
