Groaning from gearbox/clutch :(

Featured Replies

Hi guys basically I put a post up the other day about my clutch bite point being really low when leaving the clutch down for a while but now there is a groaning noise coming from the gearbox area when I pull away it does it until my foot is off the clutch and im away it the groans slightly when I put the car into second gear also but the thing is it doesnt alway do either of them its luke it picks and chooses when to do it :/

Just an overviw I have a 6 paddle clutch and single mass flywheel which has only been on for 7 months and the slave cylinder and release bearings all.got changed at the same time.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Thanks guys chris

Take it to the garage that fitted it and get them to inspect it. Might have to pay but most parts come with a 12 month warranty anyway.

No way am.i taking it back there they left the mount for the gearbox completely off lol choppers I tell you. The parts are from cg-motorsports so.il ring them and take it to a place called rk race engineering and they can fix it with the parts supplied by cg-motorsports hopefully if not another expensive bill for me lol

sorry i couldnt help more buddy, never saw your first post, but it shouldnt have been ignored
