40k service

Featured Replies

My 2010 roomster needs a 40k service. I don't have a copy of the schedule, so no idea what is involved. Hopefully someone can tell me whether it's the usual oil change, Or perhaps something more involved?

It would be great is someone could point me to where I could find a service schedule.

Thanks for any help. BB

Not so clear copy, but still working one here: http://s13.postimage...st_DSCF2650.jpg

Fuel filter, air filter, plus inspection service / oil change.

Re inspection service, a lot of things to look at, lubricate locks, change pollen filter, change wiper blades if needed.

At 3 years you are looking at brake fluid change as well.

Hope this helps.

this may be a starting point for an idea of items and prices - according to them you're looking at the major service

Yes, thanks, I'd seen that and surmised it was a major service at 40k. However I emailed my main dealer for a quote for 40k major.

They emailed me £192 including oil, filters, etc and VAT. I'm suspicious that they are quoting for an oil change type service. Guess I'll have to phone them and clarify.

Thanks, that confirms my thoughts.

Grafitti - Many thanks for taking the trouble. BB

Keep in mind that in the 4-page post your 1.6CR engine is not listed, the schedule for it is different and is per the earlier photo I posted.

Important as some intervals are different, most notably the belt.

you're right... it didn't click for me that it was a 1.6...

Still, it's worth to have it all in one place for others to look at :)
