What a bmw beaten by a skoda!!

Featured Replies

I think driver skill must have played a part there' date=' the 325i's aren't slow, and would see off a Furby - one mag did a roadtest of the 325i v's the 330d, to prove how far diesels have come, but the bottom line was the 325i was still quicker, and as we all know, forum members will tell you the 330d leaves the Furby like its going backwards (not that I agree with that, mind), but you wouldn't have passed it if he was driving the car to its full potential.

Saying that, I had a tussle with one in the Golf GTI, and although I didnt win, I was close enough behind to have given him a big surprise![/quote']

i do agree, the figures prove that he should have left me standing, but i do think things like road knowledge has a big part to play, the funny thing was i could of pushed it harder but i had the Mrs in the passenger seat going ape!! :D:D

Look on the bright side - you're probably a better driver than he is. :D

And that would be why most "racing" cars are FWD would it?

:haha:

- and that too.
