Personal Engine Cover

Featured Replies

Just wanted to test the water...

Is there anybody that has or knows anybody that can make personal engine covers??

I've seen them about before, they're a nice little touch,

I'm after someone to create one for me...

Also if youv seen any cool ones or have one yourself post a pic of it!!

Cheers guys!

Personal how? Carbon fibre?

I'm sure I've seen a "Sticker Bombed" Engine cover.

I've stickerbombed mine before, dont have a picture though, however I wrapped it carbon fibre effect vinyl.

Normal large format vinyl is charged out at a minimum of £30 per meter, make sure it's done on decent stock with a solvent ink, no reason why you can't have whatever design you want printed, a heat gun, blade and a squeegee are all you really need to install once your engine cover has been cleaned down fully (solvent cleaners are probably best).

How do you rate this kit? Does it make it sound any better, any noticeable performance gains?

Lovely! Did you ever get any issues with that plate?

No issues what so ever

Was pulled a few times

Was 3/4 sized sticker

The bmc didnt really make much difference to sound! If you want an awesome growl the best thing for that is a hybrid pd150 turbo! These things growl like no other!!

And performance gains i dont know. Was running hybrid power :D

That's next on the list along with upgraded clutch, waiting for either of them to break first! Already have a piper 0 silencer cat back which sounds ok.

On the last picture, is the stickered section removable?
