How about placing an advert up now stating when it will be available from and that it can also be wrapped FOC in (almost) any colour the buyer wishes?

Like others have hinted. I'd be HIGHLY suspicious of a car for sale that was wrapped, and would just walk away from it.

Well, I've had the chance to do a lot of thinking..... and I've decided to keep the car for another year regardless.

The extra fuel costs over a diesel are only about £500 for a year with the sort of mileage I'll be doing, so it makes sense to keep it for a while.

So, I'm going to press on and get it wrapped anyway, as I can have it removed when I come to sell the car.

Thought I'd update this thread, as the general opinion was that a wrapped car would never sell in a month of Sundays

After, my last post saying I'd keep it for a year, I had a rush of blood to the head and changed my mind... as I really want something newer.

Anyway, just thought I'd post to say that I could have sold this car 5 times over. Had loads of interest in it, and the only reason it didn't go almost immediately was because I couldn't let it go too quickly... the buyer would have taken it when viewed two weeks ago if he could have. I'm sure he's going to enjoy it.

Admittedly, a wrap won't add value, and you're unlikely to get your money back on the cost (my wrap was free), but if you've got plenty of good quality photo's of the pre-wrap condition then it's not necessarily an issue.

Well done for selling it - the only reason I'd have said change the colour is that yellow is the taxi colour round here.
