hi all my handbrake light doesn come on when hanle pulled up is it a mot fail i dont fancy taking the dash apart if i can help it is it a easy fix or a pain in the rear cheers nigel.

Firstly i would check the connection by the handbrake, if that is ok then i think you will have take the cluster out then take the bulb out and change it for an unused bulb.

My handbreak light comes on, as my handbreak don't like sitting all the way down ( I passed my MOT the other day).

Their's a sensor (button) just underneath the handbreak lever, if you remove it's cowling you can see it.

The HB warning light doesn't seem to be in the MoT. http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_310.htm
