hi, I've just registered so that i can find out about living with/tuning vRS as I am thinking of buying one.

So anyone with hints and tips on how to ge a new vRS for as little money as possible please get in touch.

No probs, I know when I joined I went through the whole Fabia section (about 30 pages at the time) and read up on anything that looked interesting! :)

Might take a while but certainly gets you upto speed. Definitely helped me decide on making that purchase :thumbup:

Nicely run in, not long left on the warranty for modification potential (if of course you are worried about that sort of thing)

IMHO if you're gonna mod it anyway, you may as well buy an ex-demo. They will be cheaper and they're not really that bad - may not always be the spec you want but it will save ya a few grand perhaps, which you can put towards modding it I suppose.

Mine's virtually standard, i.e. Cupra intake & green filter + strut brace, all easily reversible if required. I'd love to go for a remap but I'm not going to do it (yet). Get some miles on the clock ;)
