Just in case you ever want to brag about a Felly!

It was a long time ago now but the recent snow reminded me of this.

A colleague at work wouldn't believe a Felicia came 3rd overall. Being the pedantic tosspot I am I had to find this. This all came about cos I had to be towed out of a ditch last Monday after skidding off the road in the snow in my truck, I mentioned that a Felly once beat most of the big 300bhp 4wd subarus and cosworths etc, because of the snow. 300bhp isn't much use in the snow!

Skoda rally pedigree  & hope your slide didn't result in any serious damage! :o

My felica coped really well in the snow even climbed a big hill will no problems my boss's aldi q5 could not make it up same hill

No damage done although I have lost the towing eye cover, I shall have a look for it next time I drive past in daylight. It was only a little ditch! I dare saw, hard, lowered suspension and 195 wide tyres on an empty pick up isn't ideal for driving in snow!

Doesn't tend to aid snow/ice handling. The Fun has always been quite manageable in the snow but am always worried about an off road excursion as replacement bumpers etc really aren't cheap!! :o

Tiff needell in a felicia kit car in 54th never knew that he drove for skoda
