Bolero blank screen

Featured Replies

I've, over the first 12 months of ownership had the odd issue with the Bolero screen going blank. The radio/player/phone works fine still, but obviously you can't use the touchscreen.

My belief is that a component is overheating causing the issue with the screen, as if left over night the fault very rarely re-occurs. However, if during the same period the car stops/starts it can happen a number of times. The issue only ever happens when the car is started though - ie it doesn't go from working to blank when I'm driving along.

Just wondered has anyone else had this issue and whether I should push my dealer for a warranty claim (which I think is the way I'm heading).

Many thanks.

Never heard of that one before, but if the cars still under warranty go and get it sorted - that's what the warranty is for!

Mine went blank all of a sudden, looked like I'd turned it off. Took it in to the dealer and they had a look then ordered a new one. Take it into the dealer and get them to replace it.

I managed to get a Bolero to go into thermal shutdown after 7 hours of constant use - screen was still ok. Half hour later all was good,

Dealers seen a couple of pics and has agreed to replace - so all now sorted.
