Water in the Spare wheel well

Featured Replies

Whilst pulling the new car apart ( as you do ) I was dissapointed to find a couple of cupfuls of water in the wheel well, its quite apparent where the water has ingressed form , there is a pair of vents that have some thin and very wet fabric over them, this and the water ingress to the parking sensors points to poor protection design to the rear end.

The solution I think will be the fitting of some rear underbody protection, time to go shopping, the sensors are to be replaced under warranty, dealer not amused as I've only had the car 2 weeks Another job to inform Skoda of.Still like the car in spite of some of the strange design features
