VRS and changing VCDS/VAGcom settings

Featured Replies

I know there are various threads on this but they are a bit scattered.

I'm wanting to know if the following can or can't be changed:

Adjust Xds diff settings.

Increase weight of steering.

Change dash digital display from kph to mph.

I am going to ask the dealer first on the basis that if they mess something up I can make them put it right,so I want to get the facts straight first...I don' t want the dealer to fob me off telling me that a certain thing can't be done.

Any suggestions as to other changes would be welcome.

XDS, not sure anything can be done with that.

Increase weight of steering, yes no problem either dealer or VCDS

Change dash from KPH to MPH, yes but the dealer will not do it since it will invalidate the EU type approval of the car. You need someone with VCDS to recode the cluster country code to Australia.
