As far as i know they are a special fitment, but don't think they are too dear

Thanks lads, what's the score then? can you not just replace the wiper itself or is the wiper incorporated into a arm or something?

If i buy a Skoda one i guess its not too bad price and they fit it?

it seems to be gettin more and more common our suzuki swift rear wiper is dealer only too but for that i bought a blade refill kit pulled out the steel cut the blade to the correct size and pushed the wiper blade in to the old frame using old steels. May be possible to do the same with the fabia blade?? the refil kit was around £3.00 from a local motor store ?

If it's only the blade that has worn out, then as suggested above, you can buy refill kits to change the blade. I've done it in the past with mine. If the metal frame is broken, then either fleBay or Dealer only.

There are a few ways of upgrading the wiper too.

Either, buy a Polo rear aero arm and wiper and with a slight modification it will fit. (have a search on the forum).

Or

Fit a retro-fit aero wiper to your existing arm. http://www.wiperblad...0h-wiper-blade/ I am very tempted to try one of them.

Rear wiper blades are cheap from a dealer, cheaper than the ebay one above.

Page 53 in the owners handbook gives instructions and a diagram showing how to fit the rear wiper.

Just slap a polo wiper on, looks far better and works well.

I got one spare sat on my desk lol
