best place to buy EGR delete

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'm wondering where the best place to buy a EGR delete kit from?

I dont know what engine code i have either, i know there is two choices so how do i go about finding out what i have? its a PD130 thats all i know.

also, is there a good guide on here? i had a search but nothing tuned up. thanks!

I've got a Allard delete pipe on my PD100 fitted by Shark Performance :)

What age is your car? You can find out by taking your engine cover off and there should be a bar code sticker on your cambelt cover with some letters and numbers and it will be the first 3 letters, either asz or blt.

I bought mine from the guy whos does the group buys.

Thanks for that info Joe i'll check it tomorrow.

I seen that group buy thread when i did a search, need to do another!

Is it easy to fit?

I bought mine before the group by its still alot cheaper than anywhere else. I found getting it all off pretty easy as i have long skinny fingers lol but others have had a nightmare :S , with the correct tools you can do it at home easy enough if your confident.

Fair enough cant be too hard then. I'll have a bash at it. where did you buy yours from? got a link for the website?

Also your engine code can be found on your v5 logbook.

Any truth that if I fit this I will get an engine management light?

I want to fit a delete kit after doing my elephant mod!

But can't afford a remap
