My Octavia Vrs TFSi has the management light on. Long journey yesterday and was all fine. Started it this morning to drive to work and light stayed on. Any ideas? Thanks. Colin

Could be anything - is it running normally? Could just be a sensor recording an 'out of range' reading. If it is, the light will eventually go out of its own accord.

You need to find someone local with VCDS to scan it. Check out the VCDS owners map on here.

Has been scanned today and came up with O2 sensor. They have cleared the fault code and it is ok for the moment I think. it still drove perfectly. thanks for your help guys.

O2 sensor? Is that the same as the lambda?

If so that will put the emissions light on and may also cause a mot failure
