Having been more than impressed by the immediate responses to my request for braking components- I thought I'd ask for panels here too.

I've bought a Favorit van -to use as a light van for household stuff. I intend to clean up & mildly modify later, (decent alloys, slightly lowered, bigger engine etc).

It needs all the standard welding doing (which I'll be starting shortly) -but wondered if replacement wings, sills, tailgate tops, rear wheel archs etc are avaialble?

I'm not looking to spend a lot (the van isnt worth a lot!) but new/replacement panels would be favourite- if possible?

So; has anyone here got any spare panels sitting in their sheds? Do you have any links to suppliers with low cost options sitting on the shelf?

The sill panel from a felicia hatchback can be adapted and used if you trim a few bits off, wings are always a bit shaky for old school skodas, there is Solent car panels in hilsea you could try, I've never seen a wheel arch repair panel for a pickup or a favorit (Forman) but they certainly are different to the hatchback ones anyway.

is it a pickup or a van? One place to check is around the top of the rear suspension mounting and that whole inner wing panel, the rot out quite badly on some, also have a dig around the back of the bulkhead where it meets the bed panel, also on the drivers side in front of front suspension turret in the little corner there you often get perforation there.
