In Car CCTV

Featured Replies

I am looking at purchasing an in car CCTV camera for when I am driving. My question is how easy is it to hide the wire(s)?

Anyone know if a guide is out there showing how to remove carpet etc?

Just tuck the wire under the rubber windscreen seal then unclip the A pillar and into the fuse box. I dont have one but that is what i`d do.

I have an iPhone app called witness driver. Works well. ??

It doesn't go into the fusebox bud - Goes into the Ciggy lighter and as we all know that nearly in the back of the car! (thanks skoda)

can i ask why?

or is your middle name hugh heffner haha :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

You can have a cable trailing across the cabin or do what I did, this being to tuck the cable behind the headlining, down inside the A post trim and run a piggyback fuse into the fusebox.

You can wire a ciggy socket in if you don't want to cut the plug off.

I assume when you say CCTV, you mean a drive recorder for insurance purposes?
