How low?

Featured Replies

Just wondering how low everyone else with coil overs has gone?

Finished off the lowering process on mine today and it's looking very low!

No scraping on the wheel arches, but I am having a problem with the engine undertray scraping on really bad bumps? Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

people have put alloy undertrays on to stop it damaging sump there was one in goole in for sale thread not too long ago

Mines very low. . Never had any problems in summer, raised it a bit for winter n caught it loads of times now. Lol. . The engine cover bulges down lower than the front bumper tho. I've never checked behind it to see how much of a gap there is between cover and sump. .

Just be carefull on bad roads. . Low n slow as they say Haha

Loads of gaP IMO between tray an sump atleast a coupple of inches

Shouldn't scrap on bumps, unless your trying to go over the little pyramid bumps with a wheel each side

Mine scrapes on bad roads and also scrapes in the arches as I found out today :) is the gap between the tray and the sump big enough for it to never scrape?

Is your undertray sitting correctly? Mine wasnt and used to scrape under braking, took it off and refitted and solved the scraping unless the road was very uneven in the back of beyond but just go slow as said and there are a couple of inches between the lower part of the tray and the sump.
