I read a very interested build thread awhile ago, a member built a false floor in his boot which had gas struts to lift it open to allow him to gain access to his spare wheel. I was hoping to find it again but after half an hour of searching nothing...

I don't remember it. Seems a bit of an odd thing to do to a Fabia.
