thinking about a green vrs

Still the odd blackline knocking about with delivery mileage for less money

Why do Skoda dealers take so little care in their sales descriptions? How can a DSG have manual transmission? The cloth/vinyl interior makes it sound very special though!

Personally think it looks awful in that green especially with the equally awful wheels but then I have an Aqua Blue Roomster and once test drove a Fiat Multipla so what do I know!

Nearly bought a very high spec 12 plate Rallye Green TSi hatch; price was great but couldnt get my head around the colour...its just a shade too light. Suits the Fabia but just looks wrong on an Octavia for some reason.

My local dealer had the car for sale for a good 6 months or so before it sold with a number of price reductions so speaks volumes about resale.

We bought a 12 plate hatch in the green last August. It's the wife's car and she fell in love with the green as soon as she saw it.

It's growing on me and in its favour, the majority of vRS octys are blue so you could dare to be different? :)

The green really grew on me when I saw a member's car. Wasn't sure at first but I like it a lot now.

And £21 for a used VRS! Knock £6-7k off it and maybe.

How much :D

As for the colour, having seen a few in real life it's not for me, but then it's not me that's thinking of buying it ;)

21k!!!!

could buy a decent spec 3 series or C class for that kind of money.

I think rally green looks gorgeous on the Fabia, but doesn’t suit the Octavia at all, even more so with the steel wheels it has fitted :giggle:

There was a green vRs Octy in the compound at Autosales (Bilston) last week.

Of course it might be a car already ordered..? but worth a look ?

They do look loads better in Green than I ever thought..

That's what I thought.

I reckon it's worth no more than 16k in any event

Maybe priced very high on purpose - I've seen this practice before.

did a free value check on it the other day 14k to 18k it came back as so is over priced

I almost bought a green one but chickened out after seeing the same one on the used car locater for almost a YEAR. It seems to be a really hard colour to sell on so i played it safe and got a blue one (plus it was a blackline so i got free extras)

we've got a green one. love it to bits. Picked up in September for three grand less than that brand new. ok it's a hatch if that makes a difference but it has a few extra's as well though.

West End in Edinburgh still have their tarted-up green one available on their website

and they have an anthracite one which has had similar treatment in their Dunfermline branch:

someone have a Halfords trade card! they've not improved the green one with the plastic bling

West End are utter clowns, it was these monkeys who bled my clutch in turn making it worse, it was them who scrapped my exhaust going up the into the rear of the service yard.

West End have a habit of doing this adding STUPID sticky on bits, painting things black and hiking the price.

And nearly 20k for a model that will change in less than 6 months is laughable.

I'd want money off for it getting vadalised!

To be honest mate i just wanted out of the place, its scuffed underneath no visible but to me it is.. and well most people on here now lol.

Not sure I like green in the hatch. Better on an (un******ised) estate imho.

Love the green I ve got a white vrs 11 plate its a taxi I ll keep it 1 more year then I m going for the green got to have blk wheel looks so much better.

marmite gents, I love it with gloss black wheels
