What are steel wheels worth

Featured Replies

I am planning on changing my steel wheels on our classic model and upgrading it abit with some factory bling.

So I have a plan in place for some alloys

So that leaves me with a set of steel wheels that really I am not going to use. So I have no idea what to ask for them with the 4 wheel trims

the tyres are decent but not new and certainly not going to make the MOT look at them in detail

I was thinking may be taxi drivers might want them to use up the tyres and swap them about. It's what I do on my VW T5

So any one have an idea? I would keep them but I have steel wheels and alloys for my other cars piling up! and really want the space

Mike the legend Holroyd at it again!!!

This guy needs knighted by Briskoda for his advice!!

Agree with MH. If you wait a bit you should be ale to pick winters up a bit cheaper as demand drops off- if you're after space get rid of the others on ebay?

Thanks this gives me an idea, we dont really get snow here being right at the bottom of the south. So winter wheels for me are not really needed. But if I can get 60 70 then thats half a set of alloys just to smarten it up abit. Its a classic model so quite basic. Cheers, oh I cant post adverts but I got a set available. Ebay I guess

as much as I agree with you, I will keep that in mind but I have a member of about a dozen clubs and forums and the anual amount is getting close to road tax and insurance a year!!!! infact it is more! GRRC is the road tax alone!! I have to draw the line some where.
