Climate control. Cold to hot but nothing in between.

Featured Replies

When i turn my temperature control one notch from the coldest setting to the next coldest it gets too warm.

It certainly should not be getting so warm as the control is well into the blue.

Its nice and cool at the coldest setting and AC works well but seems to be no gradient of change when I want it slightly warmer.

Any ideas what is likely to cause this? Thanks.

Its an 05 vrs.

I have exactly the same issue, did you ever find the solution?

I'm suspecting its something to do with the servo that controls the balance of cold/hot air. It seems to jump from fully open to fully closed with only a slight touch of the temperature dial. It's not frustrating at all!!!!

I believe it needs the ecu reset on the sensor that controls the exterior flap

Tried the routine on mine but it keeps erroring. Suggest something (leaves?) blocking but I don't know how to get to it to clear it out......

Next comment is superfluous unless it starts with "how to get to the exterior flap to clear blockages so you can reset the flap :)
