Just thought I would post a thread regarding my dealings with WingMirrorMan.

I sent them an email (a cheeky one I might add) the other day asking about the Xenon lights for the fabia, mentioned I was off the forum and asked if I could get the group buy price if I collected seen as they are local to me.

Didnt get a reply but sent another asking if they had, recieved a reply asking to ring them. Spoke to a girl called Roxanne yesterday (Friday) around 2ish explained I will collect and if they could do the group buy price for me.

She said she would ring me back after checking they have/can get them. Sure enough 30mins later got a call back saying they could have them for the following morning, just had to pay a £10 deposit.

Just been down and collected them and have to say the service was fantastic, my items were sat behind the counter waiting for me. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality of the units, just trying to source locally a set of leads to suit the D2S bulbs then can get them fitted.

How much did you pay mate?

It was an old group buy, I missed out as I was skint at the time hence why I asked cheekily if I could have it at the price they offered before.

I paid £184.99 for the lights and as I said I collected due to only being 10mins down the road from them.

Cheers for clarification, explains why I couldn't see it. What will the bulbs set you back on top of this ?

Have you replaced the smashed up one already? I might have missed it if you did.

Did what Korban did for the missing grommets and used the packaging to stop the damp entering the unit's, fully built them up and fitted the backplates on the kitchen table

After: - Light's look very blue here, but they are 4.3k bulbs and the output on the road is a lot whiter than shown here, compared to the Before pic, there is less scatter of the light

This kinda shows the direct line of the light

As I say above I fully built the units up on the kitchen table including fitting the back lens covers on as I thought this would make life easier given how a few people said they struggled fitting them due to being tight.

Another thing I will suggest is, for the bolt at the bottom/back of the light use a flat blade screw driver instead. I couldn't get in with my extension and torx due to it being 1/2 drive and too large, long handled flat blade made life so simple.

I seem to recall someone saying they couldn't get the indicator's to work and ended up using their old holder, I found that one of the prong's on the holder was flat so wasn't making a true contact, bent it up slightly and worked fine.

One bit of advice use a bit of gaffer tape to cover the diy bung as well. I used to get a bit of moisture in them until I did this.
