  • Do you scan with vag com for errors or do you log meas block 015&016 Misfire recognition in real time and watch the counter? Usually you won`t see misfire error stored in the log, the best way is

Hey Cossie did you get your beast remapped with lcr injectors? What are the figures? Come on man I`m dying over here

And the results are in :D

First graph is as it originally went in with an unknown stage 1 map vs the custom stage 2 with capped power and fueling issue's.

Data sheets for above graph:

Todays graph after live mapping to get the fueling spot on and propper boost control.

And the data sheet:

Now the peak numbers are not much different 245bhp - 251bhp and 298lbft - 303lbft, but the way in which it puts the power down on the road now is savage as there is more torque low down :D

I am very happy with the numbers, and the drivability now :D (oh and i'm well happy that the fuelling / misfiring issue's appear to be a thing of the past :D).

Those figures are just insane !!

Nice :giggle: :giggle:

Thanks mate, i'm happy with it, especially now the fueling is sorted :D

I was thinking to go the same route as you but I have LPG installed. My LPG injectors are good up to 180kW which is fine but the problem is boost, it`s too high for LPG evaporator.

I was thinking to go the same route as you but I have LPG installed. My LPG injectors are good up to 180kW which is fine but the problem is boost, it`s too high for LPG evaporator.

I have LPG and boost to 21psi spike and holds to 14 most of the way to the red line? what system do you have?

LandiRenzo Omegas system.

To function normally boost shouldn`t go higher then app 1.3bar because LPG evaporator can`t hold stable pressure in the fuel rail.Another problem is with LPG ECU, it receives signal directly from stock fuel injectors and it can modify injection time +-2%.

So if I install cupra r injectors they will have injection time max 17-19ms@WOT which is to low for lpg injectors, they can`t supply enough gas to the engine.

This can be solved with better LPG ECU where you can adjust injection time of the lpg injectors independent of gas injectors or use 2 lpg evaporators and 8 smaller lpg injectors.

OK the change of injectors is what causes the issue then. I have an E-Gas system which from what I understand of it, uses the injector timing pulses from the stock ecu with a correction value for the lpg added or subtracted as required. pretty much a self learning system so any mods dont affect it (apart from changing injectors I would imagine)

Cossie do you know a part number of cupra r injectors?

Good news; phoned my local lpg garage and they have new LPG ECU with much more capability :sun:

Off the top of my head they were bosch part no: 0280 156 063

Hej Cossie, did your tuner only adjusted map for injectors or did he start from 0?

He live mapped it to get the fueling and boost control right.
