Probably a silly question but any answers much appreciated and how much are repairs if need to be done thanks adam.

DMF will feed through vibrations in the clutch pedal and generally around the drivetrain. I've not experienced it myself

Clutch itself will be on the way out when you demand power, and revs rise without matching acceleration.

To replace both looking at about £400 probably + 6 hours labour roughly?

My DMF used to chatter and shake the engine. Lumpy idle,judder in 1st & 2nd then reverse.

Early signs are noticeable note change when dipping the clutch

Rattly noise with clutch out and then silence with clutch dipped indicates a failing dual mass flywheel

Also pulling away at low speed in 2nd was a nerve racking experience. It felt like it was going to explode. Nasty vibes through the clutch pedal.

So happy with SMF now
