15's on the fabia. show me!

Featured Replies

Looking to put some new alloys on the fab. I've been looking at some 15 BBS RZ alloys that i reckon will look great but a lot of people are telling me the fabia looks daft on 15's.

Has anyone got some pictures of a fabia on 15's so i can see what they look like?

If not, i've got a set of 4 BBS wheels from the mk3 golf GTI that are 4 stud, best place to get stud adaptors from? :D

Will 15'' steels do?

If so, here's mine, lowered on Eibach springs

I don't think 15s were an option the non vrs's got 14s but i'm sure I remember someone running 15s as winter wheels.

If you've got 312 brakes though 15s won't fit over them so thats something to think about

Also the BBS wheels on mk3 Golf VR6s were actually 5x100 so they'd bolt straight on ;)

15's were standard only on the 2.0 petrol

I stand (well actually sit) corrected

If you got them in a dark colour, as per Trevs TDs, the massive side walls won't be that noticeable really

I only knew because I bought an original Fabia 2003 brochure off e-bay the other week :D

Ta folks. looks pretty good to me! will have to be lowered first though. standard ride hight on 15's will make it look like a matchbox car.

15"s were an optional extra on the 1.9tdi Elegance ;) and they fit over 288's just and no more :p

My steels are off a Mk4 Golf, don't have 288's fitted just the standard 256's

That's mine on my winter 15s, lowered 40mm

i can imagine its a bit of a squeeze. I'm upgrading my brakes next month as i think standards are shocking so maybe fitting 15's is a bad idea.

90‘s Seat Leon 15“ wheels a bargin at less than £50 for all four and with rubber, but they have alloy acne and need some tlc.

Generally the reason people think they need better brakes is because they're going too fast into bends and can't slow down enough without the front tyres losing grip. Unless you're suffering from brake fade after repeated applications uprading the brakes won't improve things.

15" wheels came standard on Fabia Sports too

6.5x15" Image Mist rims with 185/55 BF Goodrich G-grip tyres (standart suspension).
