hi guys

I have moved over to having a skoda after a year of owning a 2007 SEAT Leon Cupra, which was great fun if not a bit thirsty and expensive on everything. Deciding to try and reduce my outgoings, I revisited the fabia vrs, on paper it had everything I wanted, the only things I would lose my xenons and rain sensing wipers I had become used to on my 3 previous cars. I went up the road to visit my local dealer who had a 2012 12 plate black fabia vrs for sale, it had 3200miles on the clock, climate control, rear parking sensors, dsg box. All in all a good package and in a lovely colour. Took it for a spin and fell for it, felt just as quick pulling away as my leon did. Went back to the dealer and sorted a deal including my private plate transfer and the deal was done.

3 weeks later I picked up my new car all excited just wanting to enjoy.

Well I picked it up in October and having just ticked over 6000miles and it wants its first service, so all nervous about getting that done. I gave it a good proper run up north on the weekend and sticking to 70-80mph I achieved 42mpg, which I was very pleased with as the best my leon did was 32mpg.

I have done a few mods, having read all the bits about how bad the headlights are, I put in some 4300k xenons which made such a difference if not a pain to fit, put in amundsen sat nav and led numberplate lights.

Anyway, here are some pictures :)
