Test drive will do it....but watch out you may never get to drive it afterwards

There's an 04 reg estate in silver for 11995 in the garage down the road. I'll take her to see that. Hopefully she'll be much impressed with the boot space - we need it for the dags, do you like dags?

Big ones that need a lot of space, hence the estate. They are an old english sheepdog and the designer dag of the moment, a labradoodle.

Personally the tactic I would employ with the wife is along the lines of "Listen love, it's an Octavia or one night I will spike your ovaltine / horlicks / white grenache / merlot / white lightning (select as appropriate) and sell your bottom into Osama bin Ladens Bora Bora Harem"

Should do the trick, well you either end up with an Octavia, or speaking in a high pitched voice and have lots more room in your undies
