Hello all,

Very new to the forum, but im looking at getting a Fabia for my daily driver. I have seen one on ebay that has your forum sticker on, so was wondering if anybody had any info on the car?

I dont know whos it is but i was gunna say it looks very well looked after and looks very clean, thats untill i seen the engine bay. A quick spray of wd40 and a wipe over could of made a world of difference.

It doesn't say but it could be remapped. Pretty sure revo is a tuning company. Could be wrong though lol.

Yeh the engine bay put me off lol, does look very clean in the pictures though...

I did see the revo sticker and also the briskoda one so i thought there maybe more history than the guy on ebay knows of...

You shouldn't be put off by the engine bay really. From what you can see in the pic it just needs a wipe (if the engine cover was off it might be a different story)

To narrow it down a little according to the eBay description he part ex it from a girl, so how many females do we have on here? (for the record, "hi im Paul" ) That may help.

Dunno about you guys but I'd rather buy a car with a dirty engine bay than a sparkling clean one, shows up any recent problems in my opinion

Looks a good buy. Console bushes have been replaced with the uprated ones, clutch and Dmf recently done. Sounds like it was an ex forum member ..

I never understand whysome stealers say "one lady owner" is it supposed to indicate the car has had a better life?.

From my experience, i would rather buy a car from some one that has an understand of how the car works. This very often is not a woman !!!

agreed.

short shifting into second when pulling away the car struggles... cant be good for the clutch and flywheel... my ex did that (not in my car) used to propper grind my gears......

if it was a female member, just seach for 'are you cute' that should help narrow things down
