First casualty?!

Featured Replies

looks like it was rear ended, and the fire brigade cut the roof off to let the occupants escape ;)

Looks like it stood up to it quite well, it would seem something with a high bumper (Big van or Truck) hit it

CTS - what a great number plate! :D

Does look as though it took a massive shunt, hope the kid was OK.

On a lighter note, maybe Richard will buy this and turn it in to a monster truck :D

Looks like I'm not the only one with a spare Citigo engine then...

Have to say, I feel less nervous in the Yeti when there is a large vehicle right up my chuff, even though the Citigo does seem to take a whack quite well.

Err... it's the name of the salvage place, to cover up the car's real reg.

I always worry with small cars where the rear seats are more or less in the boot about rear end impacts but actually even with (what looks like) a big rear end shunt it's held very well and not pushed the boot area in too much.

When selling it on could you say one careful owner?

Apparently made in 1900.

Bit of P38 and some wet n dry...?

Reminds me a bit of that Fabia S2000 concept with no roof

I knew this hence the laughing smiley. ;) I don't express sarcasm very well do I :D

It usually doesn't come across 100% via writing. :)

I bet when stripped down and parts sold it will make the price of a new car

Very very nice. Saw that at Goodwood a couple of years ago.

yeah they are not the brightest cookies in Winsford.

Anyone wanna make the first Citigo C......like the 500C?

nah it would be a topless citi-bimbo

mind you if i was richard it would find a better bodyshop, that topless conversion looks a bit of a of a rush job

i will make my own way to naughty corner

Lets hope the persons inside were ok!

thing is slightest hint of a back or neck issue off comes the roof as a precaution

but looking at the car it looks like it did a good job of sacrificing itself to save the occupants

majority of damage offside rear quarter and not any real damage forward of rear wheel, depends on whether there was much in the boot to push into anyone in the back seats

boot crumple zones seems to have worked well as the shot inside the boot shows no floor distortion near the back seats

and there does not seem to be any reduction in panel gaps round the doors, so all doors would have opened normally

just depends on what hit it and what speed to judge just how well it did, unfortunately we will not know, but first impressions are it is a sturdy little motor from that evidience
