Asked the dealer not to wash her, but de-sticker and degrease as agreed. Noticed one or two scratches, one on the B pillar but came out easy enough.

Before

After

The B and C pillars on both sidewere then sealed with Gtechniq C1 to afford it a little more scratch protection.

The car itself Is sealed with Gtechniq C2v2 on body and wheels and T1 on tyres.

looks beautiful, what engine have you picked 1.4TSI? and can see its an S spec with rear parking sensors, i also noticed your dealer actually used the screw holes provided for the front number plate, look at these pics they have just been screwed into the top section not the actual holes provided

here is how it is meant to be

IMG-20130301-00114_zps9f3d8fd3.jpg

Here is how it shouldn't be done

I'm thinking of replacing the advert/licence plates. The screw holes are one thing, I just hate when I see a car and the licence plate is slightly up on one side or off centre, it drives me crazy.

Yes it's a 1.4TSi S with the rear parking sensors. Surprisingly gutsie for only a 1.4 in such a large car. Not even a slight whine when pushed on the motorway. Currently sitting outside with only 18miles on the clock.

the s spec gets black roof rails and SE and above get silver

Cool. Though to be honest, I'd rather have the silver as it'd fit in better with the car. And I don't think you have a screw loose, you just don't like them in the wrong place.

Have to wait another week for my 13 to arrive. Sure it'll be worth the wait. Was in my mate's 13 plate today but he was very silly and bought a Focus. Coulda bought a decent car for the money he paid :-)

Hope up enjoy her mate.

Mate's taxi needed a clean (she didn't like the way the other guys hand washed her and wanted me to redo all of it), so she brought her round to meet the new girl. They played together nicely.

I've been looking after and helping my mates look after the taxi for over a year now, and the white still looks beautiful when sealed with a high gloss sealant (though plays havoc with my eyes if I catch the light wrong).
