'99 Felicia 1.3 MPI: check oil level - engine hot or cold?

Hi all,

I've just done a oil and filter, air filter and plugs change on my recently acquired 1.3 MPI Felicia Magic. (The fuel filter and anti freeze change will have to wait a while).

I've not got a Haynes manual yet, so can someone please tell me, should the oil level be checked with the engine hot or cold,
