Probably the Octy driver didn't think the truck or what ever it was had a dashcam in it to show he slowed down prior to impact for no apparent reason- could have been a mechanical failure I guess.... wonder what the outcomeski was....

To slow down that quickly he must have used the gears, just easing off the accelerator wouldn't result in such rapid deceleration?

I can't see any reason why he'd do it on purpose though, I assume he's just a bit of a wally.

Unlucky really, I imagine the truck driver was stirring his Pot Noodle at the time so didn't notice until it was too late

This is common as mud in Russia if you flick through the videos on youtube. It is why the truck has a camera in first place. Flamin Skoda driver!!!

Depends on how their insurance system works. If it's like ours, the driver behind is usually deemed to be at fault....hence the proliferation of dashcams.

I meant its quite a risk of their life, rather than just doing it to a car. If the truck driver was watching a movie he could quite easily have crushed the car completely. There are plenty of picture of what a car vs truck crash looks like and the car never wins. Even in that video, his car is quite mangled.

It looks like smoke comes from the rear wheels of the octy before the truck hits it.

I don't know which is worst - the fact that they are the worst drivers in the World, seemingly off their heads on Vodka/crack cocaine, or the fact that there are so many insurance frauds going on.

With the original video, I would think that the Octavia driver had disconnected the brake lights.
