Featured Replies

The gearbox engine mount served with bravery but its time for a replacement. What shall I get?

PS I drive hard and I use it for the track

Aren't the stranded mounts too soft? I read that several times. Moreover, my car has around 45K on the clock and now it need a replacement. Isn't that mean something?

PS I have the powerflex bush already. Actually I got the hardest one.

I'd probably go with Powerflex and be done with it, for a petrol the mpi is a little less refined than a more modern 16v but I doubt it'll be anywhere near as uncivilized as a diesel.

Don't think I've ever heard of a Fabia mpi being used for track work before (not even in banger racing), any details on what you've done to it in terms of preparation?

The car is still in its early stages in the build and I have not got to the engine yet. What I have done is vent the engine to the atmosphere and clean up the throttle body and the intake manifold.
