Mine is an 09 plate with 50K. Noticed the gaiter is in two pieces the other day - is there an easy fix before MOT or is it strut off and slip over a replacement? My idea is to split a new one, wrap it around and superglue to re-join?

It has been many many years since I needed one but you used to be able to buy them split with the sealant as a kit. These days I'd take it to an independent tire type place and let them do it for a few quid.
